Car sputters after getting gas

  • Nov 10, 2016 · After that, I changed my gas cap with a new one and I'm still having starting issues. I used to push the gas pedal to the floor prior to starting and that worked for a couple months, but now that stopped working. I haven't change my fuel filter as of yet. I'm just afraid I will get stuck at the gas station. Thanks, Angelo . My car has 218000 miles.
